The resulting spiritual journey, coupled with his passion for the stories of the Old Testament, is the basis and inspiration for Mordecai’s relationship with Hadassah in his book, Daughter of God: the Orphan, the first in a series of six.

Michael K. Edwards
Author

Michael Edwards hails from rural Idaho, where his childhood misadventures—often flashing his life before his eyes—laid the foundation for a storyteller’s spirit.
After serving in the military, he and his wife worked their way through college. Michael initially pursued journalism to fuel his writing dreams.

A lifelong lover of the written word with a delightfully warped sense of humor, Michael turned to his first true love of writing after retirement. Michael has penned several articles for Idaho Magazine and showcases his work on a personal website.
Now residing in Idaho with his wife, two cats, and two dogs, he continues to craft stories that blend his unique wit with the rugged charm of his home state.
His first book, a mystery/thriller, In The Shadows of Spirit Mountain, draws readers into the wild heart of Idaho’s landscapes and secrets.
